Pencil grips and sharpeners A pencil grip is used on any normal sized pen or pencil to encourage the correct writing grip.

A left-handed sharpener is made so that the pencil is held in the left hand and turned in a natural, anti-clockwise motion.

Pens and pencils Left-handers have to push the pen/pencil across the page rather than pull, leading to problems with ink flow, smudging and scratching nibs. We have a few different pens and pencils that makes it a lot easier for left-handers to enjoy handwriting.

Rulers All our rulers are scaled from right to left for drawing lines in the natural direction for a left-hander.

Yoropens The Yoropen can be used by both left-handers and right-handers but has some features that makes it perfect for left-handers.

The angle of the Yoropen ensures that you can clearly see what you are writing. Fingers do not obstruct the field of vision. With the Yoropen left-handers can hold the pen in an upright and relaxed position and will no longer smudge their writing. The Yoropen also has a tripod grip that can be rotated until you find your preferred writing position.

The Yoropen is ideal for writing over sustained periods such as exams, for teaching children to write and for those with handwriting difficulties or disabilities.

The Yoropen won the Gold medal at the International Inventions Fair in Geneva in 2002.
